Support Policy — AERMOD Cloud®

What we support

• Installation, licensing and updates of AERMOD Cloud®.
• GUI behaviour and stability, including launch and hand-off to AERMOD, AERMET, AERMAP and BPIPPRM.
• Application errors, crashes and confirmed software defects.
• How to use our interface (what a control in our UI does).

Out of scope

• Preparing, reviewing or fixing input data (meteorology, terrain, buildings, receptors, emissions, etc.).
• Choosing modelling options, interpreting results or providing regulatory advice.
• Troubleshooting AERMOD/AERMET/AERMAP/BPIPPRM failures caused by project setup or data.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare correct inputs and select appropriate options for your project and jurisdiction.
• Validate your results and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Use the official model documentation and guidance when building studies.

Reporting a software issue (bug)

To investigate a potential defect, include a minimal reproducible case:

1. Short summary and the exact error message.
2. Versions: AERMOD Cloud® + OS, and the model versions invoked (AERMOD/AERMET/AERMAP/BPIPPRM).
3. Step-by-step actions from a clean project to the failure.
4. Small project bundle: project file, control/options files produced by the GUI, and logs (no large datasets unless requested).
5. State whether the same inputs succeed when run outside the GUI (yes/no).

Paid consulting & training (optional)

If you require help with modelling inputs, option selection, troubleshooting model failures caused by setup/data, or result interpretation, we offer paid services.

• Scope: input preparation and QA, option review, run setup, diagnostics, and results review.
• Delivery: remote sessions or fixed-scope work packages.
• Commercials: quoted per engagement. No support credits required.
