Dr. Sudhanshu Kumar, PhD
Dr. Kumar is the co-founder and Technical Director of Envitrans®, bringing over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting, air dispersion modelling, and meteorology. He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences, focused on the impact of meteorological stratification on pollutant dispersion in the lower atmosphere.
His career spans government research, environmental instrumentation R&D, consultancy, and international project management - including senior roles at URS Scott Wilson (now AECOM) in India and the Middle East. He has contributed to national environmental planning efforts and served as an Expert Member of the State Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC), Bihar under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
With deep expertise in air quality meteorology and acoustic SODAR-based boundary layer studies, Dr. Kumar’s vision for Envitrans® is grounded in accessibility, integrity, and enabling informed decisions - without marketing noise.
