Job Summary
Envitrans is actively seeking highly responsive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Environmental Research Associates to join our team and enhance our in-house research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conducting literature surveys, acquiring and analyzing data, and producing comprehensive reports and presentations based on their findings. Additionally, they will provide valuable assistance to our software users, ensuring efficient query resolution. Preference will be given to individuals who possess scientific expertise combined with strong computational skills, enabling them to excel in research-related tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct project-related literature surveys, field surveys, and data collection.
- Perform experiments and analyze scientific data to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Communicate study results effectively to senior scientists and specialists.
- Execute environmental research projects and prepare comprehensive scientific reports and presentations based on findings.
- Document research outcomes for reports, blogs, and journal publications.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, providing assistance to the Chief Trainer during online/offline training.
- Facilitate client meetings, understand their requirements, and prepare techno-commercial proposals.
- Deliver online or offline software/services presentations and resolve related queries.
- Offer technical software support to end users.
- Contribute to other assigned activities under the supervisor's guidance.
Desired Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science or a related field.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to summarize and present scientific data and model outputs effectively.
- Experience in environmental monitoring, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques and research methodologies.
- Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and QGIS.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as R and MATLAB.
- Critical thinking skills to formulate and solve environmental problems.
- Familiarity with local environmental regulations and trends is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt language to communicate scientific findings and ideas to diverse audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
